The students in Room 26 have been working hard preparing to build a playground. 

The students have looked at the history of playgrounds and compared playgrounds of the past to those in their community today. They have investigated the materials used in playgrounds and identified why these materials are suitable.

This week the playground building will commence, with students using materials found at home. Please send in any suitable materials that would otherwise find their way into the bin.

With all the fabulous ideas the students have been sharing, we cannot wait to see the final product.
